# How to Scan the Data Source

### 1. Navigate to the Scan Data page

### 2. Select the data source

### 3. Select the data source scan configuration

### 4. (Optional) Click "Reset Attributes"

This will delete all existing attributes and re-discover all attributes from the data source.

### 5. Start the Scan

### 6. Ensure the scan starts successfully
