Snowflake Bug - Using the 'Buy' button from within the native app results in an error

You will likely get an error after clicking the buy button within the purchase modal, such as:

"Failed to buy data product.SQL compilation error: Application '___________' does not exist or not authorized."

This is due to Snowflake using the wrong Application Database Name for the purchase

1. From DataPancake Click the "Go to Listing" button

Alternatively, you can go to directly to the listing from the Snowflake Marketplace.

2. Click "See Pricing"

3. Review the pricing model and click buy

You are not charged until you enable and use paid features for a specific data source.

The scanning/discovering, schema summary information, and summary schema drift alert are always free.

4. Verify the Purchase was Successful

See the or the as needed.
